Connect and test email SMTP

Save your mail provider's SMTP settings and verify the connection before sending email.

Before you start

Access to Config and SMTP credentials from your email provider.

Where to goConfig → Email SMTP
01

Collect your provider's SMTP settings

Get the host, port, username, password or app password, and permitted sender address from your mail provider.

02

Open Email SMTP in Config

Enter SMTP Host, SMTP Port, SMTP User, SMTP Password, and the Mail From sender. Use the settings approved by your email administrator.

03

Save before testing

Click Connect or save the changes in the panel. Reopen the panel and choose Test connection to verify the saved configuration.

04

Prepare your message

Open the email automation tools, choose a template, and check the recipient fields and dynamic variables. Test with a controlled recipient before a campaign.

What success looks like

The connection test reports that the SMTP connection is verified. Review delivery logs after sending; connection verification alone does not confirm inbox delivery.

If something goes wrong

  • Recheck the host, port, username, sender, and saved password.
  • If your provider requires an app password, use it instead of your ordinary account password.
  • Ask your mail administrator whether SMTP access is allowed for the account.
