Connect WhatsApp and verify its webhook

Configure Meta credentials, test API access, and verify the messages webhook in Bizrow.

Before you start

Access to Config and your organisation's Meta app and WhatsApp business account details.

Where to goConfig → WhatsApp
01

Enter your account credentials

In the WhatsApp panel, enter the WhatsApp Token, Meta App ID, phone number ID, and business account ID for the intended account. Add the Meta App Secret.

02

Save and test API access

Save changes before selecting Test API credentials. A saved credential is not the same as a verified connection.

03

Configure the messages webhook

Use the callback URL displayed for your workspace. Copy it and the saved Webhook Verify Token into the matching webhook configuration in Meta, and subscribe the messages field.

04

Verify from Bizrow

Return to Config and choose Verify messages webhook. Save any credential or verify-token changes before trying to verify again.

05

Check a controlled message

Review your WhatsApp template, recipient mapping, and integration status before sending. Inspect delivery logs and the inbox when testing your workflow.

What success looks like

API credentials pass the test and Bizrow reports the messages webhook as verified. Check actual message delivery separately in the logs.

If something goes wrong

  • If verification is disabled, save your changes and check the App Secret and Webhook Verify Token.
  • Use the exact callback URL shown for your workspace.
  • Check that the messages field is subscribed and that the token belongs to the correct business account.
