Connect workspace S3 storage
Configure your workspace's Amazon S3 bucket for CRM uploads, invoice assets, and media.
Before you start
Configuration access and an AWS administrator who can provide bucket-scoped credentials.
Choose the workspace bucket
Confirm the bucket name and AWS region for this workspace with your AWS administrator.
Use limited credentials
Have your administrator create credentials limited to the required operations on this bucket. Avoid using credentials with unrelated account-wide access.
Enter the storage settings
Fill in AWS Region, AWS Access Key, AWS Secret Key, and Bucket Name in Workspace S3 storage. CDN Base is optional and should match your file delivery setup.
Save and test
Click Connect, then Test connection. Test a sample upload and confirm that intended users can retrieve the file through the application.
What success looks like
The storage connection test passes and a sample upload can be used through the intended workspace workflow.
If something goes wrong
- Check that the region matches the bucket.
- Review bucket permissions with your AWS administrator if the connection or upload fails.
- Keep Block Public Access enabled unless your approved delivery design requires otherwise; changing public access is not a general connection fix.
